Siouxsie Sioux - Pointillism by oblivia Siouxsie Sioux - Pointillism by oblivia
It's finally finished! Hopefully you all know what pointillism is... Many, many tiny dots that form a picture. I cannot even begin to describe the frustration of doing this, dot by dot. I used a black, ultra fine point Sharpie marker, just to give you an idea of how big the dots are. It took over twenty hours to do. I'm not good at keeping time.

Anyway, the picture was too big to scan all at once, so I attempted to put two scans together. You can see where I combined them. There's a line on the arm that's really noticeable. Try and excuse that.

Update 2016: A high resolution scan! Finally!

Interesting composition in grayscale in which appears in the bottom left, a figure of schematized girl that seems to catch an aerial mass that arises from the upper right angle that arrives from a strong vertical tracing, like a tornado, which comes from the very opposite side. to recommend my favorite artists Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Frida Kahlo, Roberto Matta Gabino amaya cacho and Pablo Picasso.

Undoubtedly the best illustrated pointillism picture I've seen. I especially love the curls in her hair.

Good lord, pointillism, I HATE pointillism >.<
But some people love it and are GOD at it, and this picture, my dear, is GOD!! I give props to you. This is great. All that time... was well worth it indeed.

Oh my God, the MOST tedious thing I can think of. And all in 20 hours, WOW, kudos. I'm sure it would have taken me like, three months :O

Siouxsie is wonderful and it really shows through in this piece. And in all honestly I would be far more than happy to buy this, if you have an idea of a price you would like?

Strange, since when I go to the print's page I see:

"Your Info
No sales
1 wish

Profits
$0.00 "

I'm confused that this is listed as a top seller without any sales.

One of the best portaits of a human on this site that I've seen so far! Even though this style is hard work, in the end you can stand back and look at what you have created and say,"Daaaaamn, I'm good."

just really amazing...
and you have to have really really really much patience, if i would ever try that pointillism i would get just mad after three or four hours and rip it to tiny tiny pieces
most of those pictures which i have seen and were made using pointillism are just crap or then they are amazing, you belong to the second group
and by the way looks really much like siouxsie sioux
has really deserved a fav
you must like even a little of her music if you have decided to "draw" her

Thank you! I had so little patience with this. I'd randomly change areas that i was dotting because I'd get bored. I started it last year around Christmas and just finished it yesterday. I couldn't stand to look at it sometimes. It's over now, though. Yay!
